１２月１７日（土）に備前緑陽高校で行われた、平成２３年度「高校生ものづくりコンテスト（溶接作業部門）」岡山県大会に、本校から３名が出場した。
三谷尭範君(R3A)が５位に入賞し、奨励賞を受けた。また、長島大幸君(R2B)が、２年生以下が出場できる中国大会に出場することとなった。
